We take care of the details from beginning to end, creating a seamless, beautifully curated experience so you can simply arrive, be present and step into your fairytale. Bundle our in-house services to reach our minimum spend requirements.

You are also welcome to bring in outside services. Please note that all outside vendors must be pre-approved.

Please note: All of the below information is applicable to our 2027-2028 wedding season. Rules & regulations may be slightly different from our 2026 policies. If you are a 2026 couple, please refer to your contract for all property policies!

How does creating my package work?

For the couple that wants a high-end, truly all-inclusive weekend celebration at the cottage. Aside from the Storybook package, this is the only package we offer for a cottage ceremony and reception.

- Two night's stay at the cottage (sleeps 4)
- Up to 10 visiting, non-overnight guests
- Up to 20 wedding guests (This is a firm number!)
- Guests on-site for 4 hours on the wedding day
- Coordination Services for 6 hours on the wedding day 
(2 hours prior to ceremony start time and the time your guests are on-site.)

Flora & Fauna is the heart of the Vaughan House experience, combining a greenhouse ceremony with an Enchantry reception for up to 50 guests. Designed to be a turn-key venue space by letting nature do the work, this package includes ceremony and reception tables/chairs, two on-site coordinators, playing of all music, cozy gathering spaces, fire pits, trash cleanup at the end of the evening and much more.

Our in-house services allow you to work with one team for all the services listed below. We already know the property inside and out, creating a seamless planning experience from your first email to your final dance.

Love some of what we offer but have a few favorite vendors of your own? A hybrid approach gives you the flexibility to mix and match. Choose the services you'd like Vaughan House to provide and bring in outside professionals or DIY the rest.

Prefer to build your own vendor team or the full DIY option? You're welcome to select and coordinate your own wedding professionals, allowing you to customize the experience to your needs and budget. Please note: All outside vendors must be submitted for pre-approval prior to the wedding day.

Once you've selected Flora & Fauna and decided how you'd like to build your wedding experience, it's time to make things official! Once the contract is signed and the retainer is paid, your date is officially reserved and the planning can begin!

Please note: This does NOT include alcohol. Legally, you must purchase the alcohol, deliver it to the venue the day of the event and surrender it to the bar. By law, you are still required to secure a VA ABC Banquet license. The direct link will be sent to you after officially booking!

Because our in-house team is trained specifically for the Vaughan House venue, high-touch service flow, and our venue layout and policies, most couples choose to keep the bar experience in-house for the best guest experience. However, you are permitted to bring in a third-party bartending team for a small fee upon approval. Please see contract for additional requirements.

Enchantry Drapery

Elevate your reception space by adding a romantic, whimsical element to the Enchantry. We will hang sheer drapery (color of your choice) in the 6 Enchantry "windows." We can tie them back or let them float with the breeze. There are 6 windows total, with 12 total drapery panels.

The most romantic reception setup you've ever seen. Your reception tables will be absolutely filled with live flame candles - lanterns, tea lights, tapers, candles of all shapes and sizes, etc.

Bistro Lighting

Vertical lighting on the left and right sides of the Enchantry are added to create more intimate, magical, twilight vibes. Lighting will be installed in 4 Enchantry "windows." The middle windows will be left open for guest walking access. Lighting is connected to the top of the Enchantry and flows down to the ground.

The reception tables will be moved out into the yard space between the greenhouse and the garden. The Enchantry will remain open for dancing, food, bar, etc. In case of inclement weather, the Light Tunnel will be modified for an Enchantry reception.
